Brownsville Attractions - Palo Alto Battlefield

Brownsville is a relatively small city but still has quite a few notable attractions to see. You can go to the Gladys Porter Zoo, visit Boca Chica State Park or do a number of other activities. If you are a history buff there is one attraction you should make sure to visit. That attraction is the Palo Alto Battlefield. It is a must see for any fan of history. Keep reading and find out more.

The Palo Alto Battlefield is home to the first battle in the Mexican American War. The battle occurred on May 8, 1846 and was the beginning of the two year war. So you might be asking yourself, what is there to do at the battlefield? For starters when you arrive you need to check out the visitor center. At the visitor center you can see an orientation video and view a number of different exhibits which tell the story of the battle and the war. When you finish with the visitors center you can head over to the parks half mile trail which will take you up to a hill overlooking the battlefield. At the top you will find panels that tell you more about the battle. It will give you a good understanding of what it was like at the time. Hopefully you have decided to go for a visit while you are in Brownsville. Trust me you will not regret it.

If you would like to visit the battlefield you can find it located on FM 511 off of FM 1847 in Brownsville, Texas. The park is open from 8AM to 5PM all year round. Have fun.

US Passport - Understanding The New Rules

Travel nowadays is not what it used to be. If you are a U.S. citizen the rules have changes and you must have a valid US Passport in order to re-enter the USA after traveling abroad to certain countries. Getting a United States passport is easy. You can obtain this official government document from the the United States Department of State. Your passporty not only certifies your identity but it also confirms your U.S. citizenship. This important travel document entitles you to travel globally as a US citizen and return to the United States. Because it is an official government document, your US passport is recognized internationally as a valid travel document.

Dual Citizenship Is Permitted

It is also possible for US citizens to hold dual citizenship, which means besides being a US citizen; the individual is also a citizen of another country. This does not prevent or cause problems when renewing the U.S. passport as the U.S. government permits individuals to hold dual citizenship.

It is the right of every U.S citizen to have a U.S. passport and it is obtainable from the U.S. Department of State. International travel is also a right that cannot be denied to any U.S. citizen. However you must have this travel document when applying for a visa to visit other countries. Furthermore, since January 23, 2007 each U.S. citizen is required to be in possession of valid travel documents to travel between the U.S. and Canada, Mexico, Central as well as South America, the Caribbean, Bermuda as well as other international destinations.

Be prepared. Obtainting a passport may not happen overnight. It may take some time and you should therefore apply well in advance of your expected travel dates. Currently, the new passport rules apply only to air travel, but d from January 1, 2008 each U.S. citizen will need to have a valid U.S. passport when crossing land borders, in addition to traveling by air and sea. This change from previous travel requirements will affect all U.S. citizens who enter the U.S. from abroad.

Applying for a U.S. passport is not difficult and requires filling out the application forms in accordance with the United States Passport Application and Renewal Guide instructions. In case of name change, a certified copy of a legal document should be furnished as also should photographs of the individual. There are several options for submitting your application. You can submit it in person or you can also mail your application to an officially recognized passport facility. Be sure to include proof of identity when you mail in your application.

Usually, your passport should arrive at your doorstep with 30 -42 days. You can severely reduce this timeframe by paying an expedite fee. With an expedited application, you should obtain your travel documents within ten to fourteen days. To avoid difficulties and frustration, we recommend that all procedures for applying for a new passport should be followed to the letter as laid down in the U.S. Passport Application and Renewal Guide. This is an important document. It explains who can apply, the specific requirements for application, the procedures that must be followed, the fees to be paid, the terms and conditions for renewal, what to do if your passport is lost or stolen, how to fill the application forms, where to apply, how to update your passport after a name change, and what to do in the case of urgent applications and renewals. A tremendous amount of information indeed.

Renewing your passport becomes necessary and is possible when it nears its expiry date, which may be fifteen years from the date it was issued. The passport should not be damaged, and the holder should have been at least sixteen years of age when it was issued and the name should be the same as when it was issued. If the passport is damaged in any way, or the holder was younger than 15 years when it was issued or has had a name change, then an application should me made for a new passport.

U.S. citizens residing abroad, except for those who are living in Canada, will need to go the nearest U.S. Embassy or Consulate for renewal of their passports. For those living in Canada, a DS-82 Application for Passport by Mail renewal application to the address indicated on the form along with payment in US dollars should be enough. Individuals should ensure that their travel documents are not be mutilated or altered in any way. This could make them liable to prosecution as well as invalidate the document itself. In case it has been mutilated or altered, the individual must apply in person and not through mail.

When renewing your passport, make sure that the application form is correctly filled out, signed and dated, and have your current travel document attached. A sixty-seven dollar fee and expediting fee, should also be included if it is required urgently.

Above all, if the slow-turning wheels of bureaucracy threaten to dampen your travel plans, remember that these new passport rules are here to protect everyone from the unfortunate realities of today's world. They are here to protect, not hurt you!

A Brief History of Leicester

Dating back over 2000 years, Leicester is one of the oldest cities in England and has plenty to interest historians. The history of the origins of Leicester are, of course, lost in time. However, there are two main theories concerning the origin of the settlement now known as Leicester.

The first is that the name is derived from a Celtic one, Coriletav. This theory is supported by the name the Romans are known to have given the settlement, Ratae Corieltauvorum. The other theory is that a mythical British King, Leir, founded the settlement of Kaerleir around the same time as the Celts were supposedly in the area. King Leir, is supposed to be buried under the River Soar!

What we do know for sure is that around in 47 or 48 AD the Romans built a fort there and then by about 50AD a city had grown up around it. Ratae Corieltauvorum was important to the Romans as it was one of the key staging posts on a major Roman road, the Fosse Way, which linked what are now Exeter and Lincoln. Rapidly becoming a market town for local people and their produce, the settlement thrived on the trade that the Romans brought to the area. When the Romans left, moving North to conquer more of England, the settlement was well enough established to continue to prosper. The main feature still visible in Leicester of the Roman occupation is the Jewry Wall and its Bath House.

As with most of England, little is known of the history of Leicester during the Dark Ages following the departure of the Romans. The next significant event was in 680 when Leicester is known to have been given a Bishop; life in Leicester at this time seems to have been a good one with the settlement continuing to prosper. Artefacts have been found showing that Leicester, alongside its farming community, had cloth weavers, potters, blacksmiths and carpenters. The ninth century saw a down-turn in fortunes when the settlement fell to the Danish Viking invaders. The Bishop ran away which, for some canonical reason, left Leicester without a Bishop until the twentieth century.

The Norman Conquest sees Leicester mentioned in the Doomsday book as Ledcestre. This name is thought to have been derived from Ligeraceaster; a combination of Castra – Camp and Ligore – Legro, an early name of the River Soar. In medieval times Leicester was a city of some importance. With a population of some 1500 the Normans deemed it important enough to build a wooden fort, which in the 12th century was re-built with stone. As was custom in those days Leicester was ruled by an Earl. Unfortunately, in 1173 Robert – Earl of Leicester - rebelled against the King (Henry II), causing the citizens much suffering, indeed such was the King's wrath with Robert that many were killed. It was during the Middle Ages that Leicester became well known for the quality of the wool cloth it produced and the hosiery it made from the wool. At this time leather was also an important industry in Leicester, giving rise to its association with shoes and footwear.

In 1464 trade was so strong that the cities merchants managed to form a corporation and Leicester could from then on elect its own Mayor to run the town. By 1500 the population had doubled to 3000 and it continued to rise despite the frequent outbreaks of plague which could decimate the population of a town. In 1619 the town was granted a coat of arms. During the English Civil War Leicester declared itself for the Parliamentarians and was laid to siege by the Royalists in 1645 who, after breaching the town wall, again killed many of the inhabitants. At the beginning of the 18th Century the population had again doubled to about 6000 and the birth of the industrial revolution saw both the population and prosperity of Leicester flourish. By the end of the 18th Century the opening of the Soar canal in 1794 quite literally fuelled the boom in industry, by providing cheap and quick methods of transporting coal and iron into Leicester.

The first national census of 1801 gives the population of Leicester as 17,000. The town expanded rapidly and places that were once rural farms became subsumed in the city as boroughs. The Victorian era is accepted as being an age of enlightenment in terms of science and engineering. In 1832 Leicester got its first railway line and in 1857 got a line connecting it with London. Leicester got its first Public library in 1871, ten years later its first telephone exchange and in 1894 its first electric street lights. By the time of the 1901 census the population had grown to a staggering 210,000 with boot and hosiery manufacturing being the main source of employment. Civic pride must have been at an all time high during the Edwardian period when in 1919 Leicester was made a city by Royal Charter; in 1926 it regained its Bishop and a Cathedral and in 1928 had its first Lord Mayor. A period of light engineering expansion took place when the Imperial Typewriter Company set up premises in the city and between 1908 and 1950 the number of people employed in Light engineering in the city more than doubled from 6,000 to 13,500.

Leicester escaped any heavy bombing during the Second World War but a slum-clearance programme was instigated in 1945 to rid the city of much of the old housing built in the boom years of the previous century. At this time there were influxes of Jewish, Latvian and Polish refugees into the city. These were followed in the 1950s by West Indian immigrants and then in the 1960s the population was swelled by the arrival of Asian immigrants. The last major influxes of immigrants were mainly Indians who had been forced to leave Uganda in the early 1970s. Recently there has been a small community of Somali refugees arriving in the city, apparently drawn by its free and easy attitude and the number of Mosques within its boundaries.

Introduction to Timeshares - Home Away From Home

Tired of spending more time planning your vacation every year than you spend on your vacation itself? Do you find yourself putting off that dream vacation just because you cannot decide where to go or what to do? Timeshares are just what the doctor ordered for you!!

The French are to be given credit for reviving the timeshare concept in the 1960s and presenting it to the world, the way it is known today. The simplicity and affordability of the concept soon made it popular in Europe and America.

Timeshares provide you a chance to acquire ownership of a leisure property for a short time. The company that has purchased the property provides part ownership of the property to many people like you at different points in time, thus jointly paying for its upkeep and use. Timeshares may be sold as deeded or right-to use contracts.

And what's more, you need not keep going back to the same resort every year. Timeshare exchange programs allow you to exchange the weeks you own at your home resort for the same or a different week at another resort of your choice, provided that the latter is part of the exchange program. Resorts and Condominiums International (RCI) and Interval International (II) are two of the largest timeshare exchange companies in the world today. However, season in which your timeshare weeks fall and the resort affect the exchangeability of your timeshares.

The cost of the timeshare is not just what you pay upfront. Other costs associated with the purchase include the mortgage, closing costs and fees, annual maintenance fees, applicable taxes, ownership transfer fees, broker commissions if you are buying through a brokerage firm, etc. Account for all these too to compute the total cost.

However, when it comes to selling your timeshares, it's an entirely different ball game. Timeshares resales do not generally provide a profit when you put them on the market for sale as the supply exceeds the demand by far. But if you are keen on selling them, there are many resale companies that can help you, for a fee, of course.

Another advantage of timeshares is that you may also rent it or gift it to others or even will it to anybody you wish! Till then, try to recollect why you bought them in the first place and make the best use of the timeshares, while you have them!

All in all, timeshares are catching up as the new way to vacation for people all over the world and a little bit of caution in buying the right timeshares will go a long way in ensuring enjoyable and peaceful holidays for years to come.

Oktoberfest 2007 - Prepare For The Biggest Festival In The World

Are you planning a visit to the Oktoberfest? As with any travel destination, preparation is key. In case of the Oktoberfest, some additional rules apply.

Did you know that you can make a reservation for the big Oktoberfest tents? With several hundred thousand people a day, many of them trying to get a seat inside an Oktoberfest tent, your chances of getting a place to sit without a reservation are slim.

What many people don't know: no place to sit, no orders taken. So, even if you manage to get inside, without beer and something to chew on, you won't have much fun.

There are times throughout the two weeks the Oktoberfest opens its gates, where the tents are blocked from anyone entering them, because they are already overcrowded. If you find yourself facing a closed entrance with a rather unfriendly security guard blocking your way, your only choice is to try to find another tent or come back another time.

To make a reservation, you need to call the reservation hotline of the appropriate tent. Numbers can be found on the website of the Munich tourist office. After making your reservation it is advisable to get confirmation sometime around May or June.

Do not make the mistake of buying Oktoberfest tent reservations off eBay. All offers to buy reservations are invalid and will not get you a table in the tent of your choice. Reservations are not transferable, therefore your name will need to be on the reservation confirmation. Reservations that do not show you name will not be accepted by the tent personnel.

Reservations are free of charge, but minimum orders of beer and food apply and vary from tent to tent. Tables that can be reserved are limited and fill up fast. So the earlier you secure your table, the less stress you will have.

Make your visit to the Oktoberfest as pleasurable and stress-free as possible. There are many things you need to take into account, especially if you're traveling with children. The Oktoberfest can be a lot of fun, but only if you prepare for it.

Cheap Air Tickets: "The Dessert is Served"

Flying in an air plane, with seat belt around your belly and air hostesses taking your order is no more just a dream for most now. With the kind of competition emerging in the civil aviation industry, the air fares have dropped down to the lowest levels ever. Sometimes passengers even wonder whether the airline is earning something from them or not with such low priced cheap air tickets.

Crashing down of air ticket prices started when the private sector was let in to the civil aviation and the formalities related to the process were eased off. With this decision of the government many small sizes airlines have dwelled into the industry and have been making sound profits as low cost carriers. Since that very time there has been a radical change in the way people used to fly. Everybody knows how seriously these private firms take their business and how lethal is the sense of competition among them.

Once a small scale private players reduces its air fare prices, the leaders in the business have to follow them to gain back the customer support and obviously for their consistent profits. This has made available an enormous amount of opportunities and facilities to the customer and that's what is important. The customers are being provided with the best in the industry on-board options at much cheaper air fares than ever before.

The term cheap air ticket is debatable in itself. What seems cheap to a person may not seem to the other person. You as a passenger have to set up a minimum budget which you feel is the maximum amount you can spend to commute to a particular destination. Once you have done so, go on a ride to search for a cheap air tickets website and find the one that matches your expectation.

There are other ways also to avail cheap air tickets. Some of the tickets are being reserved by every airline company for every flight as "discount air tickets". You can avail those if you have prior information. And what could be better if you are ready to sacrifice a little of your luxury because this can get you "cheap economy class air tickets".

With the help of technology you can now compare offers from different airlines for a particular flight and gain information on other on-board delicacies. You may also compare them by the time they take to reach a destination and number of breaks in the journey.

Most of the air carriers also release off-season offers. Off seasons are the patches in a year when the amount of boarding starts to decline in the calendar year. You can approach the airlines at such time to get cheap air tickets.
There's a lot more to getting cheap air tickets and you would like to have more of this delightful dessert but too much of dessert often causes diabetes, so we wish you enjoy your cheap air journey diabetes-free and by the time you're back we'll be ready with another reprise for you.

Why is Sydney the Best Tourist Attraction?

Sydney, Australia is one of the world's best travel destinations. It is home to some of the finest restaurants, wineries, and beaches. A trip to Sydney would not be complete without seeing the fabulous Sydney Harbor showcasing the famous Opera House and Harbour Bridge. Sydney is known for having the friendliest people, so you'll feel right at home. Perhaps that is why Sydney has been voted the best city in the world for visitors six consecutive years.

Hunter Valley Wineries

Australia's oldest, most visited wine region is an easy two-hour drive from Sydney. There are about 120 wineries to visit. Part of the fun is discovering an excellent wine that you can't buy just anywhere. There's nothing like tasting a wine on the site where the wine was made and with the person who made it.

The Hunter Valley is also well known for its gourmet restaurants, all of which make good use of the local produce. Hunter Valley beef, duck, cheeses, olives, stone fruits and honey are all found in the area. There are also lots of things to do, from touring wine cellars to relaxing in luxurious day spas.

Sydney Harbor

Sydney sits on one of the most beautiful harbors in the world. The harbor provides the perfect backdrop for sailing, swimming, fishing, jetboating, dining, and harbor tours by ferry or seaplane. Climbing the Harbor Bridge is also a favorite for tourists, which takes you from the base to the summit of the famous bridge's arch.

If you're looking for a more leisurely tour of Sydney, a Harbor cruise is the perfect scenic adventure. Short Harbor cruises will allow you to do some sightseeing for an hour or so. The sunset dinner cruises offer a romantic dinner for two while listening to the world's most popular arias from the Opera House.

Regardless of how you choose to see the sights, Sydney Harbor offers exciting adventures, relaxing tours, and one of the most beautiful places on Earth.

Opera House

The Opera House nestled in Sydney Harbor is an architectural wonder! You can take a walking tour of the famous theater with a knowledgeable guide, or attend one of the many performances held at Sydney's Opera House. They even offer a backstage tour of the Opera House so you can stand on stage and meet the performers, stars, and staff.

Sydney Accommodations

When staying in Sydney, you'll find fantastic accommodations. Two of my favorites are the North Sydney Harbourview Hotel and Four Points by Sheraton Darling Harbour.

The Harbourview Hotel has spectacular views of the Sydney Harbor Bridge and the city's skyline. Known for its uncompromising service, the Harbourview is close to tourist attractions like the Taronga Zoo and the Bridge Climb.

The Sheraton's Four Points overlooks the Darling Harbour and is minutes from all the best tourist attractions in Sydney. You'll be right in the thick of the entertainment and dining center of Sydney. Don't forget to stop in the hotel's restaurant for an elegant seafood buffet. You won't want to miss it.

Sydney Beaches

With over 240 days of sun and clear blue skies, you cannot leave Sydney without visiting one of the sprawling sandy beaches. The coast line of New South Wales has miles of unspoiled beaches perfect for swimming, surfing, coastal walks and scenic drives. Some of the most popular Sydney beaches include Byron Bay, Coffs Coast, Bondi, Ballina, Port Macquarie and Crescent Head.

No matter which activities interest you, there will be endless fun and adventurous things to see in Sydney Australia. If you're planning on visiting Sydney, make sure to plan enough time to see all the culture and history this city has to offer.

Top Kenya Rift Valley Lakes - Lake Bogoria National Park-Kenya Lakes

North of Marigat Kenya

The journey north from Nakuru along the excellent B4 Hwy takes you through some dramatic changes of scenery, particularly around the equator, where the landscape turns dry and dusty, getting more forbidding the further north you go. Suddenly, out of the sea of reds, browns and meek greens, the blues of Lake Baringo appear in the distance.

Soon you'll start to descend and, as the roadside to the east drops away, you will see glimpses for the red plains and distant hills. At the bottom seats Radat, a tiny village known to produce Kenya's best asali( honey). They sell it from roadside kiosk by the vodka bottle (Ksh 100). If you blink and Miss Radat, do not worries because you will find sweet asali for sale throughout the region.

As you approach Marigat the spectacular ridges and escarpments of Tugen hills come into view, and you will see an extraordinary number of huge termites' nests towering up for the reddish plains.

Lake Bogoria National Reserve

In the later 1990s this reserves soda lake achieved fame as the new home of Lake Baringo with a migrant population of up to 2 million birds. In 2000 it was designated a Ramsar site, establishing it as a wetland of international importance. While lesser flamingo numbers have since dropped significantly, now that Lake Nakuru has recovered from earlier droughts, this reserve (telephone 0722 377 252; P.O.Box 64,Marigat, Adult Child Kshs 1500200) is still a fascinating place and a world away from any other Rift Valley Lake.

Backed by the bleak Siracho escarpment, Moss-green waves roll down Lake Bogorias rocky, barren shows, while nearby hot springs and geysers spew boiling fluids from the earth's inside- keep your distance! Amazingly, this inhospitable alien environment is a haven for bird life and at Kesubo swamp just north of the pack, more than 200 species have been recorded. One lucky soul spotted 96 species in one hour- a Kenyan record.

The lack of dense brush around Lake Bogoria also makes this one of the best places in Kenya to see the greater kudu. The more isolated wooded area at lake southern end is also home of leopards, klipspringers, gazelles, caracals and buffaloes. Oh, and you will see your fair share of donkeys and cattle too.

Mau Forest Evictions

In July 2005, Mwai Kibaki's Kenyan government forcefully evicted between 10000-50000 locals from their homes in Mau forest which seats west of Nakuru and south of Molo. Citing Kenya's dismal forests cover (a mere 1.7%), the government claimed the evictions were necessary to protect what is left of Kenya's fragile forest environment. The present government also believes that much of the land was illegally allocated by Moi's government during the run-up to the 2002 elections. Like Moi, most displaced families are sub-clans of the Kalenjin tribe.

The force used during the removals and the lack of options given to the evictees have sparked outrage with critics likening the situation to that of Zimbabwe. With future eviction scheduled for the forest around Mt. Kenya and Mt. Elgon, the political firestorm will only continue to heat up in the coming years.

While the odd Kenyan tourist visits the springs, few people venture further south, meaning you may well have the place to yourself. You now have the bonus of being able to explore on foot or bicycle, though stay clear of the small buffalo population. If you would like a guide (half full day Kshs 5001000), enquire at Loboi gate.

The Stress Free Way To Travel During The Holidays

Many of us live in different areas than the rest of our family. Many of us live several states away from Mom and Dad and there are some of us that require flight time as part of our holiday ritual. For those of us that have to travel to other countries during the holiday season, flying could be tougher than at other times of the year. Here are a few tips for world travel during the holidays.

First of all, keep your smiling face on during your airport experience. In the airport, the employees have all of the answers and they have all of the power. When you are already running late or sense the upcoming delay in your flight, it is easy to lose patience with these scrooges, but keeping your temper in check could be very beneficial. After all, everything that goes wrong in your life is not their fault, it just seems that way at the moment. Keep in mind that being super nice during a not-so-great situation could mean "free upgrade" and being not so nice could result in lost luggage, or even worse, a full body search as you are "randomly" picked out of the line.

If you have the opportunity, fly during off peak hours. It may be a little inconvenient to have to leave out in the middle of the night, but it could mean beating a huge crowd of people in the airport. Plus if you leave your home airport in the middle of the night, after the time differences (or the international date line) you may be arriving at your destination at a great time of day. Better yet, it could be discounted tickets for those "Red-Eye" flights.

Have something to do while you wait. Inevitably, on an international flight, you are going to have some delays here and there. It could be a four hour layover in Denver or a 30 minute wait at the gate for the boarding to begin, but waits are highly likely. If you have something to read or something interesting to keep your mind busy and occupied, those wait times will seemingly be cut in half. Plus, keeping your mind busy helps you to keep you patience, which takes us back to the number one tip of being nice to airport employees.

Keep security in mind. Post 9/11 security has been greatly increased on all flights, both foreign and domestic. In order to keep things moving smoothly, it is best for you to check as much of your baggage as possible and don't pack things that you know will trigger an alarm of any kind. Wear shoes that are both comfortable and easily removed and replaced. Have all liquids pre-bagged and remove your coats or jackets before prompted. These little things will help speed the security process and keep your patience in check.

Traveling with children could make everything difficult. Keeping them happy is not always the easiest task on your list of things to do on your world travel. Think about how bored and agitated you get while having to wait in lines and in terminals, then how bored you get on the plane, then multiply that by at least 20 Ð that is how your kids feel. Keep them occupied with small, quiet toys, coloring books, handheld video games or DVD players, etc. What ever will keep their attention and save your sanity.

Last but definitely not least is to ship your presents. I know it may seem like you could save money by just packing an extra suitcase and putting it on the plane with you, but in the long run, it really will be easier to just ship the gifts to grandma. Ship them several weeks in advance so that you know they get there before you ever leave the states. It is much less likely for the gifts to be lost by the postal services than for them to be lost in the "realm of lost luggage" that we all have heard of.

I hope these tips for world travel during the holidays have helped you to keep in check that temper that you know all too well. Keep in mind that everyone in the airport has a family and friends that they would like to spend the holiday with as well. Keep your attitude merry and bright, and remember, Santa Claus is watching you!

Parking At Birmingham Airport – Traveller's Guide

All passengers who ever flown out of Birmingham Airport know how much trouble, not to mention costs, car parking can be, particularly when you are in a hurry. I travel from Birmingham a few times each month on business, so I've used nearly all the airport parking services there.

The first thing I did was arranging car parking by pre-booking it online, which saved me some precious time and even a couple of pounds. I have picked up several useful tips regarding the various companies over the past five years, and I sincerely hope my advice on parking can make travelling easier for others as well.

There are around 10 different firms which operate parking services out of Birmingham International Airport and it isn't very hard to reach all of them and provide professional security for your vehicle while you are travelling. If you think dog patrols and police patrols are very different, then you may want to check this out further, but otherwise, I'm very sure: wherever you park your car it will be safe during your absence.

The most important thing to be sure of is how much available time you have left prior to your check-in procedure and how much the airport parking service is going to cost you.

Definitely the easiest service, but also the most expensive, is to make use of the valet parking options of a firm such as CPS Meet and Greet. A company's representative will meet you when you arrive at the airport and drive your car to the parking facility for you. You can then make an appointment with them to return your car when you come back from your journey and you're off! Could it be easier?

The only parking facility which is situated 4.5 miles from Birmingham airport is the Airparks Birmingham park, which runs a free of charge and frequent shuttle service to both terminals. Transfers are available day and night, seven days per week. When you check-in a telephone number will be given to you which you need to call for a transfer back to the parking site at your return.

APH Birmingham's car park can easily be found due to its location just off the M42 motorway and M6 toll road. The company offers valet parking services and from the car park there is frequent transportation to and from both terminal buildings. The duration of the trip is about 10 to 15 minutes. When you return from your voyage you will be picked up from the terminal after you have collected your baggage. Your car will be waiting at the return spaces area.

During the last five years I have tried several alternative opportunities, but by now I can say without a doubt that these online Birmingham airport parking companies mentioned below operate the fastest ways of ensuring car parking.
